Hello,

2 years ago i did a 1uz-fe manual swap in my bmw 323 86" with the following parts

Castle main rod shop:

-10" clutch + pressure plate
-bellhouse
-flywheel

With the w58 supra mk3 transmission.

Engine is running o.k and car is driving well only in first gear whole car is shaking when releasing the clutch pedal.

Problem only accur when the engine is hot, when the engine is cold (higher idle) there is no problem.

Things i already tried

-softer friction material on the clutch plate.
-checked flyweel for axial uncorrections (see pic)
-changed gearbox

Is this a common issue on a manual swap? i cannot find much information on this, i cannot believe nobody had this before.

Hope you guy's can help me out.

p.s sorry for my bad english

Engine mounts are new. (soarer v8)

Transmission mount is used, but in good condition.

Thinking of using a supra mk3 clutch plate (1cm smaller and a stiffer steel plate between the clutch materials)

The setup what I'm using right now:

10" clutch plate

Check that your bellhousing is concentric radially, as well as axially.

Do a Google search on bellhousing alignment and you'll find several procedures on how to check it.

Also, what type of slave cylinder are you using? Some concentric slaves are noted for causing "judder". I'd check the pressure plate fingers and release bearing to see if they're worn.

Thanks

I'm using a clutch fork and slave cylinder from a supra mk3.

Release bearing and pressure plate are also new, problem is here from the first meters i drove it.

About the bell house alignment i could try this.
