1UZ exhaust clatter/clapping sound

I have a twin exhaust on my 1uz conversion. 2x 2.25" (57mm) stainless pipes from headers, right through with 2 silencers per pipe. (I drive alot soI don't like it noisy) Makes awesome sound until you give it enough throttle, then it starts "clapping"/ "clattering". I have a balancing tube about 700mm from the header flanges, everything is mandrell bent and the motor makes really really good power on the dyno. What is the solution to this? I like twin pipes, it gives that old school sound, if I can just get rid of the clatter.... Any ideas??

Yes, its a matter of having decent mufflers, your going to have to loose some volume to reduce the clatter, and even wont totally avoid it.

Not the best sound, but I've gotten used to it on some of my 1UZ cars with exhausts.
