Going into my 93 LS400 soon, the P/S went dead. Fluid had been disappearing for awhile.
I'm probably going to do the P/S rebuild myself, can you think of anything else. I plan on keeping the car for awhile and have had the timing belts and water pump replaced.
Also, should I just throw some brushes (and rectifier) in the alternator, or get a reman. locally? Any brand suggestions? If it's not a bad replace, maybe just brushes?
Can anyone think of anything else?
Power Steering repair:
- Rebuild Kit and ?Bearing?
- Replace the High Pressure Line if a local shop will make on reasonably priced
- Block the ACV
- New Low Pressure Hoses
- Replace the Check Valve
Alternator repair:
- Brushes
- Rectifier
- Make a "fluid shield"
