1/4 miles time my VVTi

I got ET 14.4 RT 14.6 my car got HALTECH E11 and throtle body from Nissan Q45 port polish head trans from 1JZ GTE with light weigh flywheel How is the time good or bad or between good and bad?

Thats fairly slow. What was your 60ft time?

Ok, thats VERY slow. I am guessing you were doing 100MPH trap speed?

Every tenth of a second you can knock off the 60ft time, equates to approximately 3 times that off the ET.

Not to sound rude, but do you have much drag experience? If not, then working on your launch technique will be the best investment, just expect the clutch to take a beating!

If you are competent, then yes, slicks will help a lot off the line, just make sure your drive train can handle the grip, i.e.CV's, axles etc are all at a greater risk with sticky tyres!

What rpm are you launching at? Do you get wheel spin? Do you ride the clutch or feather it?

Other ways to get get your time down... lighten the car! Take out interior bits and pieces, easiest is the passenger seat. Also, if you can, flat foot shifting will get a quicker time if you shift well enough. But it all takes its toll! Good luck!
