Default Diff Ratio

Hi All.
I have a 1UZ engine and auto box both standard as they came out of the car, my question is , my cars weight is 900 kgs and has a existing diff of 3.92, should I change this or give it a go. I can get a LSD in the following 3.14/3.36/3.28/3.62/3.64.

Many Thanks

Alan

Hey Alan,
leaving the engine n/a?

I'd say give it a go as a 3.9 is a stock ratio for the UZ in Toyota's but my preference would be for the 3.6.

If you go FI they torque goes thru the roof and in a 900kg car i would happily run the 3.14 and enjoy riding that wave of torque

Hi.
The engine will be N/A, may look at a single turbo but for now just want to get it running, I have a 3.64 lsd if I need from a friend so will stick with std for now .
Thanks

Alan
