What is it and where does it go?

Ive got a narrow rubber hose (a few mm ID) and its towards the front of the engine near the power steering pump and its labelled 'water'.

One end is on some kind of hard pipe but the other end is not attached to anything. Where should it go?

Its from an LS400 if that makes any difference.

Its from an LS400 if that makes any difference.

Most likely the coolant pipe for the expansion tank, but thats on the A/C pump side of the engine not the P/S pump side.

its for the coolant tank, on the ls400 its just above the PS pump

Oh right. So i can just ditch it in the 200SX then?
