Hi, I'm looking to swap out the push on breather fittings on each rocker cover to AN10 fittings (either weld on or screw/o-ring type) and was just wondering, is it possible to remove the baffle plates inside the rocker covers? I was just going to cut off the push-on fittings and drill to the right size, but I'm worried about getting swarf inside the baffle plates and not being able to remove it.

They look to be press-fit with little studs so I'd rather get some advice before messing around with them, what have other people done?

Thanks in advance

You can remove the plates by drilling/grinding the rivet heads off.

There's a paper gasket between the baffle and the cam cover, but I have no idea why.

I removed mine to clean the covers out and tapped 6mm blind holes to bolt them back on.

There really isn't any need to change to AN fittings aside from looks.

Thanks Zuffen great info. Only changing to AN fittings as I have a bunch of them sitting around and loads of braided hoses to match, so thought may as well!
