After over 10,000 trouble free miles in a Cobra replica we seem to have a problem with the master relay signal from the ECU.
It is fluctuating between 3 and 12 volts which means that sometimes the relays driven by this signal work and sometimes they dont.
Is this a common sign that the ECU is failing after 21 years. We have checked all the wiring connections and they are all good.
We have tried resetting the ecu but to no avail. The voltage was still erratic.
We have worked around this problem for the moment but fear that if this is a common problemn it may be time to get the ECU reconditioned before something else goes wrong inside it.
Or is this something I can fix myself within the ECU?
