Hello lextreme, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a question about the 1uz, i like it and i love the engine, while the stock tranny does hold it back i plan to swap it to a SR20DET, the real question is what can i do to produce 380 - 400 hp while keeping it N/A?I'm fairly new to cars, but i do have someone with extreme experience to help me. At the moment price can be an issue, but i rather spend the money and do it right. Could you Lexus bros help a Lexus lover out?

400hp N/A isn't easy or cheap.

I would be looking at cams, head work, exhaust (headers) and aftermarket engine management.

Have a look through the appropriate section on the this Forum as there are plenty of examples of how people chased horse power.

Turbo's seem the best way to get any real improvement without going broke.
