    Yes both thermostats I've tried are from stock 1UZ's, and they look stock aswell. Haven't tested it in hot water yet. What top tank? The top of the radiator is hot, and the bottom is cold. Not sure, but the fans are 80w each. They should come on at 80-90* in the top hose, but they never came on...

    So I have installed the radiator the right way now, and have plugged the heater hoses seperatly. It still overheats/gets to 100*, and it doesn't seem like the thermostat opens correctly.. tried to open the hex screw (not all the way) but it seems like coolant is the only thing coming out of it...

    Switched back to the old radiator, turns out it had a hole in it, that most likely happened when I took it out last time. Need to find someone who can fix it first, before we can try to fill it with coolant and try again. Will write here when it’s fixed!

    @gloverman how is it possible that the hose to the thermostat is the inlet? Because it opens when the coolant in the engine is hot, doesn’t it? So do you mean I’m supposed to fill the holes, each by themselves? Like with two plugs? Thanks for replying!! Finally someone with good knowledge.
